Saturday and waffles! Since I have to get up for tennis each Saturday I try to eat well after. You know, refuel with carbs. Today was rough and I could barely get this post off the presses without just inhaling my waffles and calling it a day.
I found this whole wheat waffle recipe and decided to give it a go. I’m all about sugary and froo froo waffles but these basic waffles were okay. They were actually pretty crispy which is what I like. I ate them plain with maple syrup but this is probably a recipe that could stand up to a lot of different flavour ideas.
